SAUDADE is more a feeling than a word, and therefore impossible to translate, but if I dared I’d say that it’s something you feel deep inside you, a strange atmosphere in your inner self mixing nostalgia, loss of past moments, memories, homesickness, love stories, or loss of fare away countries or people you’ll never or barely see again, songs that you love… Strangely enough SAUDADE is felt not talked.
